Tools that I used are HB pencil to sketch the portrait on the paper, eraser, a black coloured pencil to draw the piece and the reference photo. This is my first black pencil piece and I really enjoyed working with this tool! Eraser wasn't able to erase it, so the drawing didn't take as much time as some other pieces, as I had to think of every stroke.
It's a portrait of Leonardo DiCaprio and the reason I had to draw this is simply the massive intensiveness in the photograph. I also love the movie What's Eating Gilbert Grape.
Actually I just today took this piece and the James Dean Giant drawing with me to the city to get them framed! I'm excited because I haven't done that in a long while!
